Haupia for the Holidays!

Celebrate your tropical Thanksgiving with haupia dessert to follow up a delicious main course. Haupia or coconut pudding is a favorite local, Hawaii style tradition. First you'll need to buy Hawaiian Sun coconut milk, located in the frozen section of your local grocery store. Our coconut milk is straight up coconut milk and water!

12 oz. Hawaiian Sun coconut milk

1/2 cup of sugar

6 tablespoons of cornstarch

3/4 cup of water

Directions: Combine Hawaiian Sun coconut milk and sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a small boil. Combine water and and cornstarch in a separate bowl and mix until smooth. Slowly add cornstarch mix to coconut milk while stirring constantly at a small boil. Pour into an 8X8" pan and refrigerate.
